In today’s world, stress is a very widespread problem. There is a contradiction in that as much as our innovations have improved the quality of life, they are also a source of great stress. Though cars have helped us to travel long distances more quickly, they have also added pollution to our air, and that isn’t all they’ve polluted. One of the less desirable side effects from a vehicle is its contribution to noise pollution.
It seems like a small price to pay for travel, however the human auditory system is stressed by the excessive noise from vehicles. Cars can sometimes be problematic but they are only one of many reasons that people get stressed out. The circumstance is much more complicated though. Studies show that watching and excessive amount of Television or reading books and magazines does indeed impact strain on your eyes. We are able to transfer knowledge more easily with this type of stress, even though it is as taxing on the nervous system.

It is one thing to slow down and take time to relax, and completely another to do what we need to in order to drastically reduce the stress in our lives.
Plainly stated, stress is usually caused from things over which we have no control. The human body is designed to warn us, in the form of stress, whenever there is an imminent danger to our health. If we listened to a loud noise and didn’t feel any stress because of it, this may be dangerous. We have been bestowed with the instinct so as to respond to sights, sounds and a lot of other sensory data helping in turn to save our lives; thanks to the human evolution running into a period of millions of years. This occurs naturally, but is difficult when the stress is not relieved.
Our best solutions are also some of the simplest ever! Physical exercise and meditation, while opposite in nature, are our strongest tools for relieving our daily stress. Both methods require us to seek peace from our inner core.
